We’re looking for a passionate Junior Interior Designer to join our growing team! This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their interior design career who’s eager to gain hands-on experience in residential design while working in a dynamic, fast-paced, and highly collaborative environment.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a full-time, hybrid position, primarily remote, but with regular in-person client meetings, and site visits across the greater Portland/Vancouver metro area. Occasional in-person team meetings will be required across the greater Portland/Vancouver metro area. Travel will be required to locations including Newberg, Beaverton, Gresham, and Battle Ground, WA.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
You’ll assist with:
- Space planning and layout development
- Sourcing furnishings, materials, fixtures and finishes
- Creating design presentations
- Design documentation for projects, including 3D renderings, CD sets with floor plans, interior elevations, RCPs, and creating and maintaining spec sheets
- Attending site visits, installations, and client meetings
- Coordinating with vendors, contractors, and internal team members
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
- 0–2 years of experience in residential interior design
- Proficiency in: SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, project-shifting environment
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and build strong client relationships
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for regional travel
- Ability to lift, carry, and move furnishings, materials, and design products as needed
BONUS SKILLS (NOT REQUIRED):
- Familiarity with Canva and Notion
- Prior internship or freelance experience in design
LOCATION & TRAVEL:
- Mostly remote work
- Occasional, required in-person meetings in Camas, WA or Portland, OR
- Site visits across the greater Portland/Vancouver metro area. Travel will be required to locations spanning as far South as Newberg, as far West as Beaverton, as far East as Gresham, and as far North as Battle Ground, WA. Reliable transportation is a requirement of the role.

- 5 sick days per year

- Mileage reimbursement
- Salary: Starting at $49,000 per year, dependent on experience
- Bonus: Discretionary annual bonus may be available, based on company performance
