Talk about a dream bathroom! This space actually started out as a spare bedroom that shared an adjoining wall with the primary bedroom. Given that the house did not have an ensuite, we decided to transform this bedroom into a luxury primary bath.
By knocking out the closet and moving the entry door, we were able to create a large and open bathroom with the vanity on the right side as you walk in, and the shower and water closet on the left.

BEFORE
AFTER
If you're curious what the bedroom looked like at the beginning of the project, check out the before photos down below! We were actually able to save these hardwood floors from this room and use them in another space in the house that had a different flooring where we wanted wood instead.
Our palette throughout the home was a blend of natural, earthy tones with pops up blue which we continue in this bathroom. We went with a soft light blue double vanity that gave our clients a ton of storage and a lot of counterspace. To give them even more storage, we framed in the space on either side of the vanity and added recessed shelving. This can be used for decor, but also practical storage like towels. The shelves are a rift white oak, stained with the same color as the floating shelves in the kitchen and by the fireplace.
One of my favorite features of this bathroom is the arched shower entry. We did a salmon toned subway tile throughout the shower, and brought it out into the arch as well to really round out the space.
In the shower, we went with a small hex shaped floor tile, and throughout the bathroom we went with a natural limestone in a versaille pattern. Another fun way to add some variation to the space!
Throughout the bathroom, we used polished nickel for all of our finishes, except for the mirror where we went with a black frame to add some depth and contrast.
